Privacy Policy

BADRADIO is a 24/7 internet radio station operated by Paul Grey (New Zealand). This policy explains what — if anything — we collect when you use the BADRADIO website (badradio.nz), the BADRADIO iOS app, the BADRADIO Android app, and the BADRADIO TV (Apple TV) app (together, the “Services”).

BADRADIO is a streaming radio service. We do not require accounts, do not ask for personal information, and do not sell any data.

What the apps collect

The BADRADIO mobile and TV apps stream audio. They do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, microphone, or any other personal data. They do not create user accounts. They do not display ads.

When you press play, your device connects to our streaming provider (Radio.co) to receive the audio stream. As part of normal internet streaming, Radio.co receives standard technical data such as your IP address, approximate region, device type, and stream timing, used to deliver the audio and produce aggregate listener statistics. What the website collects

The badradio.nz website uses two analytics services to measure aggregate traffic:

• Google Analytics — anonymous page-view, device, and referrer data. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous page-view data, no cookies, no cross-site tracking. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

These services collect aggregate technical data (such as IP address, browser, and device type) needed to count visits. We do not use them to identify you.

Third-party content

Pages on the website may embed content from third parties — for example YouTube video players (mixes) or links to Discord, Telegram, Instagram, SoundCloud, and X. When you load or interact with that content, the third party may collect data according to their own privacy policy.

Cookies

The website uses cookies only as required by the analytics services listed above. The apps do not use cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the website will keep working.

Children

BADRADIO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through our Services, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Because we do not maintain user accounts or personal profiles, there is generally no personal data tied to you for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have a specific request — including requests under the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California) — email us at paul@badradio.nz and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Data retention & security

We do not store user-identifying data ourselves. The third-party services listed above retain technical logs according to their own retention policies. We use reputable providers (Vercel for hosting, Radio.co for streaming, Google and Vercel for analytics) and rely on their security practices.

International users

BADRADIO is operated from New Zealand. By using the Services from elsewhere, you understand that the technical data described above may be processed by our providers in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
